To place an order through our website, you can register as a customer via www.madamegarage.nl. You create an account, secured with a password, linked to your email address. You enter your data yourself and can, by logging into your account, also modify it at any time.

WHAT DATA?

We process the following data:

• First and last name;
• Residential (delivery) address;
• Email address;
• Phone number;
• IP address;
• Products you have viewed during the previous 60 days;
• Your account number/account details;
• Products you have ordered;
• Your last visit and login are also recorded.

We do not process payment details. Payments to our webshop are processed through a third party (Payment Service Provider, which is Shopify Payments). Through Shopify Payments, you can securely pay in various ways. You enter the details of your credit card or bank account only on these secure pages and then complete your order. We receive notification from Shopify Payments only if your payment is received, not the number of your credit card or bank account.

CUSTOM AUDIENCE TARGETING

Madame Garage creates a customised audience group by uploading the email addresses of its customers into an advertising tool. This group can then be linked to a specific Facebook campaign, visible only to these Facebook users. Madame Garage understands the importance of securely storing your personal data. The data stored in our database is protected through common electronic security techniques, following the applicable standards for data security.

You only gain access to your account by correctly entering your email address and password. All passwords and sensitive information are protected through encryption and are never visible to us.

Our websites and web applications are secured with SSL certificates. You can recognize this by the green padlock icon to the left of the URL in your browser's address bar. All data you send and receive via our website is encrypted, making it unreadable to third parties. Data exchange between our websites and processing partners also occurs through secure connections.

Madame Garage only stores your data for as long as it is legally allowed and necessary for the purposes for which your data is processed. The duration of data retention depends on the nature of the data and the purposes for which they are processed.

Madame Garage follows these retention periods:

• Website visit data: 24 months;
• Data related to a complaint or inquiry: up to 6 months after the complaint or inquiry has been resolved;
• Data concerning the purchase of our products: 5 years (legal limitation period);
• Administrative data related to the purchase of our products: 7 years (tax retention period).

In the case of unforeseen legal proceedings, we retain your data for up to 6 months after the proceedings have been concluded.

a. Access, correction, restriction, deletion of your data.
If you wish, Madame Garage can provide you with an overview of your personal data known to us.
If the information is incorrect or its retention contradicts applicable laws and regulations, we will correct this information or delete it upon your request. Requests for Access, correction, restriction, and deletion can be submitted at any time by emailing contact@madamegarage.nl.

Upon confirmation, Madame Garage will delete or modify your data within four weeks. We will respond to your request within four weeks.


b. Objection.
If you disagree with a specific processing of your data, you can object to the processing at any time by emailing contact@madamegarage.nl. Upon receiving your email, we will respond as soon as possible, but in any case, within four weeks of your Objection.


c. Data portability.
You have the right to data portability. This means that you have the right to receive the personal data you provided to us in a usable format to transfer it to another data controller.

If you wish to receive your data in such a format, you can email contact@madamegarage.nl. We will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the format you would like to receive the data. We will respond to your request within four weeks. If the request is complex, we will inform you within four weeks that we need up to 2 additional months to respond substantively to your request. The deadline for responding to complex requests is a maximum of 3 months.


d. Withdrawal of previously given consent.
If you have given us consent to process your data, you can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing contact@madamegarage.nl. We will respond to and confirm your request for Withdrawal of consent as soon as possible, but in any case, we will do so within four weeks.


e. Filing complaints with a supervisory authority.
If you have concerns or worries about how we handle your Personal Data, including how we have processed your Personal Data. In that case, you can report this to a data protection authority authorized to hear such complaints.
